Getting started

Put the app on your phone, sign in, choose your language, and learn the three things every screen has in common.

Which login is yours?

You are a…You sign in withWhereYou land on
WorkerYour name and a PINThe main address of the appThe map with today’s work
ManagerEmail and passwordThe link Manager / Admin — sign in with email → under the worker loginThe map with the Manager Panel
AdminEmail and passwordThe same manager linkThe admin console (no map)

You cannot end up in the wrong place: whichever address you open, the app sends you to the screen that belongs to your role, and every sign-in screen links to the other two. Accounts are created by a manager or admin — there is no self sign-up. Forgot your password? A manager or admin taps Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen and gets a reset link by email. A worker who forgets their PIN asks a manager or admin, who sets a new one on the spot (see the Manager guide).

Sign in as a worker

  1. Type your name in Your name — the name your account was created with. Capital letters do not matter. If a manager later changed how your name is shown, the sign-in name did not change.
  2. Type your PIN.
  3. Tap Sign In. The button reads Signing in… while it works. If something is wrong the app says what — Wrong name or PIN, Too many failed tries — wait a few minutes, then try again, No connection to the sign-in service — and gives the form back.
  4. You stay signed in. The app will not ask again until you tap Sign out.
The worker sign-in. Managers and admins use the link underneath.

Put it on your home screen

Installed to the home screen, the app opens full-screen and keeps its screens and the map of the property on the phone for when there is no signal.

  • iPhone (Safari): the app shows a banner. Tap Share ↑, then Add to Home Screen.
  • Android (Chrome): open the browser menu ⋮ and choose to install the app or add it to the home screen.

Choose your language

  1. Look at the top bar, next to the bell. The button shows the language you can switch to: ES means the app is now in English.
  2. Tap it once. Everything on screen changes at once, and the phone remembers your choice.

The choice belongs to the phone, not to your account: a shared phone keeps the language of whoever used it last. A few labels — the map buttons, the bungalow checklist and some short messages — are in English in both modes; this guide shows them as they appear.

What people write is translated for you

Notes, list items, problem reports and messages are translated once, when they are saved. You read them in your language. A small ⇄ after a text means you are reading a translation — tap it to see the original words.

The inbox: what is waiting for you

  1. When you open the app, anything new for you appears as a stack of cards, oldest first.
  2. Swipe left or right, or use ‹ ›, to go through them. 🔊 reads the card aloud.
  3. Tap 📍 Go there to jump straight to the list, place, task or note the card is about.
  4. Closed it too fast? The 🔔 bell in the top bar opens the inbox again; Show all brings back cards you have already seen.
What is new for you is waiting when you open the app.

A card that asks you for something — fix this, sign this off — stops appearing once that work has been signed off by someone. Opened from the history, it says ✔ Already signed off by NAME — nothing left to do. Messages people send you are also listed under Communication in the top bar.

Working with no signal

When the phone loses its connection the top bar shows OFFLINE. Most of your work carries on and is sent by itself when the signal returns.

Three things every screen shares

  • Sheets drop from the top. Close one with × or by flicking its header upward.
  • Section headings fold. Tap a heading — a list’s title, “Issues & repairs”, “Notes” — to open or close it.
  • Names are recorded. Whoever ticks, adds, inspects or signs is shown next to it. Use your own login, never a colleague’s.
