Field guide · English & Spanish

The whole retreat, on the phone in your pocket — signal or no signal.

One app for the people who keep a retreat center running: shopping lists, repairs, bungalow readiness, guests’ stays, gates and the daily schedule, laid out on a map of your own property.

Find your guide

The app looks different depending on who signs in. Pick the door that matches your login.

Your property is the menu

Every kitchen, bungalow, tool shed and gate is a pin on the map. Tap a place and you see what belongs to it: its lists, its notes, its open problems, who is responsible for it and when it was last inspected.

  • Three map styles: street, satellite, and a site plan drawn from the satellite photo that stays sharp at any zoom
  • Walking trails as an overlay
  • Bungalow dots show who is in residence and who is about to arrive
The site plan with trails switched on. It needs no signal.

Nothing gets lost between “asked” and “done”

A list, a reported problem, a gate work order and a one-off task all follow the same chain: one named manager or admin is responsible for signing it off, only that person can sign, and only an admin can clear it away afterwards.

  • Statuses that match real life: waiting for materials, deferred until a date, unable to buy
  • Forward a list to another manager, like an email, with the trail kept
  • Every item shows who added it and who ticked it

One card tells the whole story: status, dates, who forwarded it to whom, and who signs.

Two languages, one team

Every screen is in English and Spanish, switched with one tap. What people type — notes, list items, problem reports, messages — is translated once when it is saved, so each person reads it in their own language, and a small ⇄ mark shows the original.

  • Numbers, times and names are protected: a translation that loses a number is thrown away
  • Reading a translation costs nothing and works offline
Communication: everyone's notes and the messages sent to you, in your language. ⇄ marks a translation.

What is in the app

Each of these has its own section in the guides.

Shopping lists and work orders

Type or paste a whole list at once, quick-pick templates, “Used before”, a drag-and-drop builder on tablets, and a short link by WhatsApp for someone with no account.

Notes with photos and voice

Pinned to a place, with three priority levels. High-priority and emergency notes alert the managers.

Bungalow readiness

A fixed checklist per bungalow, stamped with who finished it and when.

Guests and stays

One record per stay. Health notes and the daily status are visible to managers and admins only.

Gates

Log what happened at a gate, keep its hours, raise a work order, and text the gate contacts.

Calendar

Recurring work on any place, stay, gate or list. Missed work carries over until someone deals with it.

Areas of responsibility

Every area always has one responsible person, with scheduled handovers and a warning when one is empty.

Inbox

Whatever was submitted or assigned to you is waiting as a card when you open the app, with a button that takes you there.

Backup and restore

One file holds the places, lists, gates, stays and schedules, and can rebuild them after a disaster.

Running a retreat center?

This app was built for a working center in the Peruvian Amazon and can be set up for another property: your map, your places, your lists and checklists.
